This book was a very special project I had the honor of designing for ISKCON Melbourne’s 50th anniversary. Written by Gopavrndesa Das, it’s filled with beautiful Sanskrit verses, thoughtful translations, heartfelt prayers, and deep reflections.
My design approach was to visually echo the profound spirit of the text—bringing clarity, beauty, and reverence to every page. From typography to layout, each element was carefully crafted to support the reader’s journey inward.
To me, this book feels like a jewel—an offering to Srila Prabhupada and the Deities, and a meaningful resource for devotees seeking to deepen their connection with ISKCON’s mission.

The book is beautifully printed on glossy art paper paper.

The cover was inspired by the book’s title, Vilasa Kusumavali—a garland of blissful pastimes. Each flower in the garland represents one of the eight chapters, coming together in a single devotional offering.

This theme of a flower for each chapter is carried throughout the book, with design elements that gently highlight and honor the unique mood and message of each section.
